Problem/Question

Perceptive Content Server Disconnect / Profile Creation


Overview

This issue will normally occur if the connection profile is not setup correctly or, if remote, not connected to VPN.


Solution

Note:: If working remotely, please check that you are connected to VPN and retry. If still not working, please check the Connection Profile.

Connection Profile Setup (QA)

  1. Launch the Perceptive Content 7 Client

  2. ​​​​​Click Connection Profiles 

 

     3. Click Edit Connection Profiles

4. Click Create

      

5. Details:

  • Name: UMD
  • Server ID: apps-image-content-prod.its.umd.umich.edu
  • Server Type: Production
  • Port Number: 6000
  • User Name: Remember last successful user name

6. Click OK

7. Default Preferences: Remember last successful connection attempt

8. Click OK

Login Instructions from Home : 

  1. Must be connected to UM-Dearborn VPN to connect

2.  Login with Kerberos credentials
