How do I get access to the Adobe Creative Cloud applications?
Overview
Creative Cloud is automatically available to all active students, faculty, and regular full- and part-time staff at the University. In addition to being able to get the software on university owned devices you can also install it on your own personal device.
Solution
There are two different setups one for Personal Devices and the other for University Devices. Regardless if you use it on a personal or university device please make sure that you have enough space to install the software.
PERSONAL DEVICES - STUDENTS | FACULTY | STAFF
1. Follow this link Adobe Creative Cloud Download to get the Creative Cloud App from Adobe.
2. After it downloads run the installer, when it is complete it will place an icon on your computer for Adobe Creative Cloud for Windows it should be in your start menu or desktop, for Mac it should be in your applications folder.
3. Log in to the Creative Cloud by entering in your umich email address and then click Continue.
4. Select Company or School Account
6. Go through the Authentication
7. From here you will see the application screen, just install the ones that you want to use.
UNIVERSITY DEVICES - FACULTY | STAFF
1. Install the Adobe Creative Cloud software through from the software management on the device, from this method you will have to pick the software that you want to use.
2. After it installs open the application and log in to the Creative Cloud by entering in your umich email address and then click Continue.
5. Select Company or School Account
6. Go through the Authentication
7. From here the application you selected should be up and running.
