How do I get access to the Adobe Creative Cloud applications?
Overview
Creative Cloud is automatically available to all active students, faculty, and regular full- and part-time staff at the University. In addition to being able to get the software on university owned devices you can also install it on your own personal device.
Solution
There are two different setups one for Personal Devices and the other for University Devices. Regardless if you use it on a personal or university device please make sure that you have enough space to install the software.
Personal Devices – Students | Faculty | Staff

Go to the Adobe Creative Cloud download page:

Download and run the Creative Cloud Desktop App installer.

When prompted, sign in using your @umich.edu email address and select Continue.

Choose Company or School Account.

Complete Okta authentication

Once signed in, install the Adobe applications you need from the Creative Cloud app.
a. From here you will see the application screen, just install the ones that you want to use.

UNIVERSITY DEVICES - FACULTY | STAFF
Windows (U‑M Managed)
- Open the Software Center.
- Install Adobe Creative Cloud or the specific Adobe app required.
- If off‑campus, connect to the U‑M VPN before installing.
- Launch the app and sign in with your @umich.edu email.
- Select Company or School Account and complete Okta authentication.
macOS (U‑M Managed)
- Open the Managed Software Center.
- Install Adobe Creative Cloud or the required Adobe application.
- Launch the app and sign in using your @umich.edu email.
- Select Company or School Account and complete Okta authentication.
