LibCal: Deleting Exception Times

Problem/Question

How do I delete or edit Exceptions?


Overview

Temporary changes to regular hours are called "Exceptions". This is the process to delete them after they've been made. 


Solution

You can't edit Exceptions directly. You can only delete them and then replace them with a new corrected Exception.

To delete an Exception; from the dashboard select the "Spaces & Equipment" item from the Settings drop down (the gear icon).

 

Click the "Manage Hours" link for the location that holds the space where the Exception is.

 

The Exceptions are listed on the right.
Find the date of the exception you wish to delete and click the delete icon (the trash can).

 

Confirm the deletion.

 

You'll see that the Exception is gone.

 

The original hours are now restored. A new Exception can be created if needed.
