Activating Excel Add-ins

Overview

You need to use an Add-in to Excel, such as Solver

Solution

1. Start Excel
2. Select to open an Excel worksheet
3. Select in the Menu, File-> Options
4. Select Add-ins
5. In the Manage box, verify 'Excel Add-ins' is selected then press Go...
6. Place a check in the Add-ins you would like to enable, then press OK
