Problem/Question
Caller ID looks like the call is coming in form inside the University of Michigan-Dearborn. In fact, it's an external telemarketer.
Overview
With this issue, someone from off-campus can be mistaken for someone on the campus and that could lead to being unable to screen phone calls in the event of someone calling wrong number or a scammer.
Solution
Unfortunately, there isn't anything that ITS can do to stop the calls from occurring.
There is some information on the safecomputing.umich.edu web page that is useful.
