Forwarding Email in MCommunity

Problem/Question

Forwarding U-M mail to different email address and/or stop U-M email forwarding to a different email address.

Overview

U-M mail is the primary means of communication between members of the University and teachers, faculty/staff and organizations on campus. It is used for sending information about classes, events on campus, or emergency information.

Solution

1. Go to https://accounts.it.umich.edu/profile/
2. Scroll down to EMAIL FORWARDING
3. To add a address, click  + Add Address and type an external email address.
   • To remove an existing email forwarding address, click - next to the email address
4. Scroll down and click Save Changes
