Zoom Teleconferencing: Adding Scheduling Privileges for Meetings

Problem/Question

Can I have someone schedule meetings on my behalf?


Overview

Sometimes you may not be available to schedule a meeting and need someone else to. On Zoom you can use the Scheduling Privilege to allow other Zoom users to schedule on your behalf.


Solution

SETTING SCHEDULING PRIVILEGE

1.  Log into your Zoom at https://umich.zoom.us/ and on the left hand side menu click Settings.

 

 

2. Select Other from under the Meeting category.

3. Go to Schedule Privilege and click the + sign next to Assign scheduling privilege to 

 

4. Enter the umich email address of the individual who can schedule meetings on your behalf and then click Assign.

5. Success! The user is now able to assign meetings for you.

 

REMOVING A SCHEDULING PRIVILEGE

If you need to remove the scheduling privilege for a user follow these instructions.

 

1. Navigate back to your Scheduling Privilege page click X next to the name of the person you want to remove

 

2. On the confirmation page click YES and the individual will be removed.
