Why is Mwireless prompting me to renew the security certificate?

Solution

Devices may prompt to accept a new certificate for campus WiFi networks. In that case:

1. View the certificate details to confirm it is related to U-M WiFi
2. Accept the certificate

Devices may report an error when trying to connect to campus WiFi networks, without prompting the user about a new certificate. If that happens:

• Re-run the WiFi Setup Tool
  • Or manually install the new certificate on the device
