Why am I getting a Single Sign On error when I try to log into the My UM-Dearborn portal?
Overview
Students attempting to log into the My UM-Dearborn portal may receive a Single Sign On error for many different reasons, most of which you may be able to resolve on your own or by contacting One-Stop at 313-593-5300, umd-one-stop@umich.edu, or 1145 RUC.
Solution
A Single Sign On error may occur for the following reasons, each of which has a distinct solution path:

You’ve not yet paid your enrollment deposit for the University of Michigan-Dearborn

Log into the online application portal and pay the deposit.

Not sure if you paid the deposit already? Contact One-Stop at 313-593-5300, umd-one-stop@umich.edu, or 1145 RUC

You paid your enrollment deposit but then deferred to a different semester
-
You’ve paid your enrollment deposit but the portal is not yet open for the semester you wish to enroll
-
Check the Registration Timetable

Check with One-Stop at 313-593-5300, umd-one-stop@umich.edu, or 1145 RUC to make sure you’re good to go

You’re attempting to log into the My UM-Dearborn portal using your username and password from your application

Check your email for instructions on setting up a Uniqnname.

If you do not recall you uniqname, please contact the ITS Service Desk at 313-593-4357 or through a chat session.

You already graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn
