Digital Accessibility

Description:

This service helps UM‑Dearborn faculty, staff, and students make digital content (websites, documents, and media) accessible. Support includes guidance and collaboration to align with the EIT Accessibility Standard Practice Guide (SPG 601.20) and WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.

We recommend including the following:

  • Type of content 
    Website, document (PDF, Word, PowerPoint), Canvas course content, video/audio, form, or other

  • Link(s) to the content
    URL(s) to published or draft content, if available

  • File upload(s)
    Documents, slides, videos, audio files, or other materials to be reviewed

  • Type of assistance needed
    Accessibility review, remediation guidance, training, or collaborative support
