Problem/Question
What do I do If I receive Spam/Scam calls?
Overview
Scam calls are fraudulent and malicious calls, usually from and outside number, where the scammer attempts to scam victims out of their personal information to defraud them – usually for money, gift cards, or other payment types.
A spam call may not start as scam but still unwanted. Spam calls can be from legitimate businesses or vendors that use unfair or poor calling practices, like calling a department line and asking to speak to whoever is in charge but not giving a reason why. Spammers range from sales or polling calls who repeatedly call numbers to pitch a product or service.
