Problem/Question

How do I resolve the issue of repeated popups on my macOS asking to allow FDESetup?


Overview

This is an issue with Global Protect version 6.2.5, to resolve it you must downgrade to the previous version 6.2.2.


Solution

To start the downgrade of Global Protect you must do the following:

1. Do a finder search for Managed Software Center

2. Find the Update for UMD VPN Global Protect the version should be 6.2.2.259 and hit Update

3. After the computer restarts and you log in, you should no longer experience the FDESetup popup.
