BodyViz - How to Download and Install the Software

How do I install the BodyViz software to my computer?

Overview

Below are the instructions to install the software but before you do that please reach out to your course instructor who will provide you with the student coupon code so you can get the software at no cost. This article covers the following:

Solution

CREATING YOUR ACCOUNT AND DOWNLOADING THE SOFTWARE:

1. Please Navigate to https://bodyviz.onfastspring.com/Student
    
2. Enter coupon code that you received from your course instructor in the lower right and click “Apply” Note: It should be $0 after coupon; you don’t need to pay anything.
    
3. Add the BodyViz Student Edition
    
4. Select either Windows or Mac
    
5. Under Your Payment, click “Enter Payment Details”
    
6. Fill out your: 
        First Name,      Last Name,      College provided email,      Company = “University of Michigan - Dearborn”      Phone number      Address
    
7. Select “Place Your Order”
    
8. Please follow the instructions provided.  
    
9. Select “Download Now” to download the software
    
10. An automated email was sent from KeyGen with a unique link to set your password.  Please check your inbox, junk, and spam folders.

MANUALLY RESETTING PASSWORD:

1. Open the BodyViz software on your computer after installation.  This will launch the User Login Screen
2. Select "Forgot Password". Enter your registered email address when ordering.

**Some systems may produce the following error message after installation*

If this occurs...

1. Cllick the Windows Start button.
2. Type in atig6pxx.dll.
3. Right-click the file and choose Open File Location.
4. Change the file name from atig6pxx.dll to atig6pxx.dll.bak.
5. Click Continue.
